Cliopanion uses the Anthropic Claude API to power Clio's chat, weekly reflections, free time suggestions, and personalized greetings. When you use these features, relevant context about your routine and progress is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. This data is transmitted securely and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal identity with Anthropic — only anonymized routine context.
Your data is stored on secured servers. We use industry-standard practices including encrypted passwords, HTTPS transmission, CSRF protection, and rate limiting on login attempts. Access to your data is limited to the application administrator.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Account tab within the application. Account deletion permanently removes all your personal data, routine history, tasks, and preferences from our systems.
Cliopanion uses browser local storage (not cookies) to remember your theme preference, cached greetings, and a secure session token that keeps you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
